The physical benefits of practicing yoga

There are twelve physiologies of the body that function physically, spiritually, ethereally, mentally, and carry rajasic, sattvic, and tamasic tendencies that yoga directly benefits. The physiologies are: integumentary, fascial, skeletal, muscular, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, eliminative, endocrine, nervous, mental-emotional, and pranic.

1. Integumentary

Yoga gives skin a healthy glow by detox through sweating, balancing hormones and boosting the flow of oxygen rich blood to the skin. Yoga movement and meditation stimulate the production balance of collagen throughout the body, promoting resilient skin.

2. Fascial

Yoga can release lock down in the body from the constant "forward thrust" by using an intrinsic patterning of resistance and release. This facilitates fluidity throughout all the climates of the body, from visceral, to neuromuscular, to mental-emotional. The sound of ujjayi pranayama has a softening effect on the fascial sheath.

3. Skeletal

Yoga strengthens the bones density through isometric movements and keeps optimal range of motion throughout the joints.

4. Muscular

Yoga strengthens, tones, and lengthens the musculature through movement. Yoga movement also keeps muscles young and vital, so minerals and nutrients are more readily absorbed. Freeing tight muscles brings balance to the structural alignment of the body, so more movement is allowed expending less energy.

5. Circulatory

Yoga acts as a cleanser of the circulatory system through both movement and oxygenation of blood, as well as tones the entire cardiovascular system.

6. Respiratory

Yoga stretching and breathing increases overall lung capacity which oxygenates, strengthens, and tones all systems of the body. Regular Yoga Breathing helps the body detox naturally and gives the skin a youthful, healthy appearance.

7. Digestive

Yoga is typically practiced on an empty stomach. Regular yoga practice stimulates naturally the body's digestive fire and healthy eliminative practice. In short, regular yoga keeps you regular.

8. Eliminative

Yoga stimulates the peristalsis actions with in the body. Yoga Kriyas and the Yogi tradition of fasting can be used to cleanse the GI tract internally.

9. Endocrine

Yoga is a balancing tonic for glandular flows and stimulates thyroid function and the pituitary (the Master Gland).

10. Nervous

Yoga increases nerve energy pathways throughout the body, balances the cerebrospinal fluids and releases impingement pressure on nerves. Yoga also soothes the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems to work in tandem as they were intended.

11. Mental-Emotional

Yoga balances the right and left brain thinking capacity, increases conscious awareness, and concentration abilities of the mind.

12. Pranic

Yoga increases the overall Prana to each of the twelve systems and cultivates the ability to direct energy to different areas of the body. The electromagnetic field (aura), chakras, nadis, and marma points would be included in the pranic system.

Transitioning from 3D to 5D consciousness

TODAY I have decided to raise my vibration to be 3D -> 5D. What does that mean? 1. Being in the 3rd dimension is what we observe on the physical plane. Being GROUNDED protects us from psychic and energetic attacks. This happens when you are open in the 4th dimension (4D) and you do not have the highest intention for yourself, for those involved, or for anything else. To be grounded and protected in 3D, I like to play my C-12 root crystal sound bowl, practice Bodhi Yoga™, stretch, meditate, use essential oils, and practice cupping on my muscles to release. 2. You want to AVOID being in the 4th dimension because you are opening up yourself to ALL entities without the highest intention. If you have the highest intentions, then you can ascend to 5D (5th dimension). Recently, I had my own personal experience of a psychic attack and did not know what to do when I was in that situation. I observed being in my house like normal except there were things that were different. I could lit...

Ayurvedic Lifestyle

Living an Ayurvedic lifestyle takes discipline. When I concluded my yoga teacher training, I decided to further explore Ayurveda.  Ayurveda is known as the "science of life". One who eats an Ayurvedic diet and lives an Ayurvedic lifestyle is said to live to their optimal health. I am participating in an Ayurvedic cleanse to honor my body's doshic makeup. By doing an Ayurvedic cleanse, I reduce inflammation and mucus build up in my body.  When the body is out of equilibrium, "dis-ease" manifests. When we completely rid our bodies of inflammation and excess mucus, the body can actually heal itself. I personally believe combining several practices can really enhance a person's well being. Before I list what has worked for me, this is not at all medical advice and always recommend you consult with your physician.  I have done a 360 transformation in a little over 1 year. I began by practicing Bodhi Yoga with an Ayurvedic focus. This yoga opened me up in a new li...
