Dancing to Release Old Vibrational Energy & Raising Your Vibration

Today I did a deep energetic cleanse with my aura and practiced connecting with my spirit guides. I am halfway there to becoming capable of verbally communicating with my higher guides on an instantaneous basis in any given situation. Normally, I set the space by cleansing the energies with sage and palo santo. I then rearrange my belongings to keep the energies clear and not stagnant. There are several steps I personally take to get in the sacred space of connecting with my guides.

After meditating and practicing my trance states, I felt very inclined to dance and release old vibrational energies that were no longer serving me. I created a short playlist of songs that I used to love in my childhood. :)

It's so healthy for the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual bodies to release in dance. Dancing instantly raises our vibration, so it's always best to find time to dance for a little bit.

One of my favorite things I've recently cherished

I used to believe if someone did a "pretty" pose and it was super advanced, then I would be fit and healthy. Wrong. Yoga is so much more than just being able to look instagram worthy and attaining a flat stomach.         Yoga is a process of confronting your own limitations being able to challenge and overcome them. I have never had upper body strength, core strength, or even great balance. I practiced and practiced Vrksasana (tree pose) until I got it right. I learned how to allow myself to trust myself. This was HUGE for me. By learning this, I can stand anywhere, away from a wall and balance because I learned to allow. Also, I perfected my ardha chandrasana (half moon) asana on my right side. I am still practicing it on my left side because I'm not as strong on my left. I don't have to use any assistance because I practiced so much. I learned from that asana that certain things take time. Focus in the moment and be present. That message resonated so much

Twenty Twenty

What a year.  In January, I began a new chapter in my life across the country 3,000 miles away from my hometown. I had no idea what was about to unfold for me this year, but I knew I was ready for a new beginning.  This was the year I had my first ego death. I didn't know who I was or what I wanted to be. I was aimlessly floating through life barely getting by and taking care of myself in new ways. I was eating vegan, adjusting my sleep schedule, and started taking vitamins and supplements religiously.  I began my yoga teacher training journey in March and I knew this going to be apart of my life forever. After awakening my yoga practice like never before, one night I struggled falling and staying asleep. This was the night that changed EVERYTHING for me. I fell asleep on my back, my third eye opened and I saw the lower astral plane. I saw dark entities and floated out of my physical body. When I realized I was floating, I thought to myself "wow. I feel FREE." I rolled ba

Kemetic Yoga Practice

I have never liked the yoga that I was first introduced to in Charleston, South Carolina. I am very intuitive and have never felt nor believed that the yoga that was practiced there was the real deal. I was always turned off when the instructors were SO focused on just physical movement and whatever they said was "yoga". No one ever taught that yoga was something more.  I moved to Utah almost 1 year ago today and was introduced to Bodhi Yoga. Bodhi Yoga is a yoga practice and philosophy that originated out of current day Pakistan. I learned about chanting, connecting with my higher self, how the practice is meant for your own journey and not this attained pose that I saw all the time in Westernized Yoga. I loved that it taught me to expand my consciousness and how there is more to yoga than what Americans think.  I ventured into this metaphysical store over the summer in 2020 and found this beautiful place called Synchronicities. I wandered throughout the store and saw orgoni
